Jersey consultation

No items found.

On Friday, March 11, young organic Jersey bull calves arrived at De Braamstruik farm again. A trial where the Jersey bull calves can stay alive instead of being slaughtered after a few weeks. The intention is that they will later be raised at the Eyckenstein estate to be able to provide exclusive organic Jersey meat after a few years. After staying in the straw shed, they go outside where they eat grass and organic concentrates made from grains and herbs all year round.

The same day, a number of farmers with organic Jersey cattle visited DID-IT and the farm to exchange experiences and jointly set guidelines for bull calves and meat sales.
